Vinification and ageing
The Château Alverne vat house is equipped with temperature-controlled concrete vats. For the red wine, ageing takes place in new oak barrels (Radoux Blend) over a period of 18 to 22 months. The white wine is fermented and aged in specially selected new barrels, with malolactic fermentation also completed in barrel, for a total ageing period of 6 to 12 months.
