Château Cadet-Bon was acquired by Michèle and Guy Richard in 2001. In 2003, Stéphane Derenoncourt and Frédéric Massie joined the team as consulting oenologists. The following year, in 2004, the château and cellar underwent extensive renovations. A comprehensive soil survey was conducted in 2005 by Claude Bourguignon.
The estate is committed to organic viticulture, having begun its conversion in 2018. It is recognised as a Grand Cru Classé.
