Vinification and ageing
Ageing at Château La Grâce Fonrazade can extend over substantial periods. For instance, the Château La Grâce Fonrazade Persevero cuvée benefits from nearly two years of barrel ageing. Château La Grâce Fonrazade underwent 22 months of oak cask ageing for the 2016 vintage, and 20 months in new barrels for the 2015 vintage. The blend of Château La Grâce Fonrazade 2016 is predominantly Merlot (85%), complemented by both Cabernets.
