Identity
Château Nodot is located in Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye, in the Gironde department. It is owned by Jessica Aubert, who also oversees the winemaking.
History and Philosophy
The history of Château Nodot dates back to 1760, and the estate has remained in the same family for over 250 years. Jessica Aubert represents the 11th generation at the helm of the property.
Jessica Aubert's parents initiated the transition to organic viticulture prior to 2010. In 2010, the estate committed to biodynamics—an approach designed to work alongside the vine and foster biodiversity. This philosophy translates into tangible actions, such as preserving wild flower meadows, restoring ponds, and re-establishing native hedgerows.
Château Nodot was awarded the Gold Flora and Fauna Trophy (Trophée OR Faune et Flore) at the Bordeaux Vignoble Engagé competition in 2020. The estate is also a member of the Routes du Vin de Bordeaux en Blaye et Bourg network and holds the Vignobles & Découvertes accreditation.

Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye.
