The Château Bellefont-Belcier vineyard was established at the end of the 18th century, the same period when the château itself was built. In the late 19th century, under the ownership of the Faure family, the estate enjoyed great renown; it was during this era that a circular vat room was built. In 1994, new partners acquired the property, prior to Peter Kwok taking over in 2018. The estate is committed to environmentally friendly practices, holding Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certification and currently converting to organic farming.
