History and Philosophy
The history of Château Brillette, noted as early as 1874 as one of the leading estates in its appellation, has been shaped by several changes of ownership. The Comtes du Perier de Larsan managed the vineyard for nearly a century. In 1975, Raymond Berthault acquired the property. His daughter-in-law, Madame Berthault, followed by her son, Jean-Louis Flageul, took over in 1995. Jean-Louis Flageul, assisted by his sons Romain and Erwan, undertook extensive modernisations of the technical facilities in 2000. The estate was acquired by Céline Villars-Foubet and Jean-Pierre Foubet in 2023.

Winemaking and Ageing
Winemaking follows traditional methods, including meticulous parcel selection. Maceration lasts around three weeks. Ageing takes place in French oak barrels for 12 months, with one-third of the barrels renewed each year.
