Identity
Château Croix Beausejour is a family-owned winegrowing estate located in Montagne, in the Gironde. It is run by brothers Rémi and Clément Laporte, representing the fifth generation of winemakers on this land. The estate was established in 1983.
History and philosophy
Founded in 1983, Château Croix Beausejour is steeped in family heritage, driven today by the fifth generation of the Laporte family. The estate is dedicated to environmentally friendly practices, having eliminated chemical weed control in 2012 and introduced mechanical soil cultivation as early as 2007. Since 2020, the vineyard has been in conversion to organic farming.
Appellations
Château Croix Beausejour produces wines under the Montagne Saint-Émilion appellation.

Ageing methods vary depending on the cuvée. The Cuvée Référence is aged in oak casks. For the Cuvée Prestige, ageing takes place over 12 months in new oak barrels. The Cuvée Mai-Ly, on the other hand, is crafted without oak ageing.
