Identity

Château Croque-Michotte, a winegrowing estate located in Saint-Émilion, was founded in 1906 by Samuel Geoffrion. After remaining in the hands of the Carle family since that very year, it was acquired by Generali via Château La Pointe. Pierre Carle, who had managed the estate since 1996, and Lucile Carle have both been associated with its leadership.

History and Philosophy

Château Croque-Michotte made headlines by withdrawing from the decennial Saint-Émilion classification. This decision followed a legal challenge against the 2012 ranking before the administrative courts.

The estate is committed to environmentally friendly viticulture, as evidenced by its Ecocert FR-Bio-01 organic certification, first achieved in 1997.
