History and philosophy
Château Duhart-Milon was acquired by the Castéja family in 1830. It was subsequently classified as a 4e Cru Classé of the Médoc in 1855. The estate was sold by the Castéja family in 1937. In 1962, Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) acquired the property. The estate is committed to HVE certification.

The grape varieties are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (67% or 70% depending on the source), complemented by Merlot (33%). Harvesting is carried out by hand.
Flagship cuvées
The estate produces the primary red wine, "Duhart". A second wine is also crafted, named "Moulin de Duhart". A white wine, "Le Blanc de Duhart-Milon", is produced as well.
Vinification and ageing
Ageing of the red wines is carried out using around 50% new oak barrels, for a period of 10 to 18 months depending on the vintage.
