History and Philosophy
The name "Clinet" has been documented since at least 1595. The estate was managed under the influence of Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix from 1966 to 1999. From 1999 onwards, it returned to family hands. In 2000, Jérémy Chasseuil took over the management of the estate, and Ronan Laborde assumed leadership in 2004.

The Vineyard (Terroir)
The vineyard of Château Feytit-Clinet covers a planted area of 6.3 hectares or 6.5 hectares (depending on sources) or 11.5 hectares. The average age of the vines is around 35 to 40 years. The soils consist of gravel over clay or a balance of sand, clay, and gravel. Among the plots is a parcel of Merlot known as "Grand Vigne" facing the Pomerol church, dating back to 1934. Harvesting is carried out by hand. The grape varieties are predominantly Merlot (75% or 90%) alongside Cabernet Franc (10%) or Cabernet Sauvignon (25%).
