History and philosophy
Château Flouquet was established in the 1960s by Christian Bernard. Subsequently, Alain Bernard managed the estate. David Bernard took over the property in 2015. The estate's philosophy centres on soil cultivation and ageing in terracotta amphorae to convey the authentic expression of the Saint-Émilion terroir. The estate has held Level 3 HVE certification since 2018, implementing practices focused on biodiversity preservation, fertilisation management, plant protection strategies, and water conservation.

The tasting room and shop are open year-round, Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 to 16:00 (according to one source) or from 8:00 to 18:00 (according to another source), except during the two-week Christmas holiday period. Visitors under 18 are welcome to join the tour but are not permitted to participate in the wine tasting. The estate is also active on Facebook and Instagram.
