History and philosophy

The history of Château Pichon Bellevue began in 1880. The Reclus family, descendants of the writer and geographer Élisée Reclus, founded the estate. Over time, the farm transitioned from mixed agriculture to specialised viticulture. The Reclus family has maintained an unbroken presence across four generations, preserving and passing down their expertise and values.

Château Pichon Bellevue produces wines under the Graves de Vayres appellation.
