Château Pierre de Lune is a family estate where Véronique and Tony Ballu are actively involved in both managing the property and crafting the wines. The estate provides guest accommodation and a reception venue alongside direct cellar-door wine sales.

Château Pierre de Lune produces wines under the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation.

Flagship wines

The estate produces one principal red wine. Average annual production is approximately 3,500 bottles, which equates to 26 hectolitres.

The tasting cellar is open to visitors from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00, from March to October. The vineyard (terroir)

The vineyard spans an area of 1 hectare on clay-limestone soils. The average age of the vines is around 30 years. The grape variety breakdown consists of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Vinification and ageing

The harvest is carried out by hand. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats. The wines are aged in oak barrels, comprising 50% new oak and 50% one-wine barrels.
