Updated on
Château Rollin, a family-owned winegrowing estate in Haut-Médoc since the 19th century, practises sustainable viticulture (agriculture raisonnée). It produces red wines from 16 hectares of vines (Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) grown on gravel soils.

Identity
Château Rollin is a winegrowing estate located in Saint-Sauveur, in Gironde. The estate is owned by the Martin family.
History and philosophy
Château Rollin boasts a history dating back to the 19th century. Remaining within the family, the property was handed down to the four children in 2002 under a Groupement Foncier Agricole (GFA) structure. A key turning point was reached in 2007 with the decision to manage both vinification and marketing directly at the estate.
The estate is committed to sustainable viticulture (agriculture raisonnée). This approach includes mechanical soil management, reduced pesticide use and optimised vineyard treatments. Château Rollin is AREA-certified.
Appellations
Château Rollin produces wines under the Haut-Médoc appellation.
Practical information
Château Rollin offers direct sales at the estate. An order and delivery service is available in France and internationally upon request. Guided tours of the vineyard and cellar, along with tastings of the red wines, are organised by appointment.
