Appellations

Château Saint-Lô produces wines under several appellations. The main cuvée, Château Saint-Lô, is crafted as a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. The Vineyard (Terroir)

The Château Saint-Lô vineyard is situated approximately five kilometres from the village of Saint-Émilion, within an area listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Yields are carefully controlled. While the exact blend of grape varieties across the entire estate is not detailed, the flagship cuvées are predominantly Merlot.

Flagship Cuvées

The estate offers a variety of cuvées. Château Saint-Lô, in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, is crafted from the estate's finest terroirs and oldest vines. It is predominantly made of Merlot, with the proportion ranging between 85% and 95%. This wine typically displays the classic structure of its appellation. Château Saint-Lô Baron, under the Saint-Émilion AOC appellation, is made from the estate's younger vines. It is likewise Merlot-dominated (between 85% and 95%). Château Saint-Lô l'Ermitage is a Bordeaux Rouge AOC wine.
