The vineyard (terroir)

The vineyard extends over 26 hectares, with parcels located on slopes and terraces, some of which cannot be mechanised. The soils are clay-limestone. The vines have an average age of 30 years. The estate comprises 28 distinct parcels. Harvesting is carried out by hand.

Flagship cuvées

Château Tour du Moulin offers still red wines. A special cuvée, Prestige du Bric, was produced in 2019 and aged for eight months in oak barrels. For the dry whites, the blend comprises 60% Sauvignon, complemented by equal parts of Sémillon and Muscadelle. Another white cuvée was crafted with 70% Sauvignon. The estate has received awards for its vintages, including a silver medal in 2015 and a gold medal in 2016 for some of its wines. The 2018 vintage was also awarded a silver medal at the Concours mondial de Bruxelles.

Vinification and ageing

The wines of Château Tour du Moulin are aged in barrels, with maturation lasting up to eight months for certain cuvées. Annual production stands at around 25,000 bottles.
