History and philosophy

The Noël family has been involved in viticulture since the early 1800s. The Château Tour Saint Germain estate was acquired in 1891, perpetuating a deep-rooted family tradition in the region.

Appellations

Château Tour Saint Germain produces red wines under the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. It also offers a rosé wine under the Bordeaux appellation.

Winemaking and ageing

For the "Cuvée Élégance", ageing takes place in both vats and oak barrels, enhancing the wine's structure and complexity. This specific blend of 65% Merlot, 25% Malbec and Cabernet-Sauvignon yields a production of around 50,000 bottles.

Château Tour Saint Germain is open daily from 08:00 to 19:00. Cellar tours and complimentary tastings are available. Visits on Saturdays and Sundays are by appointment only.

The vineyard (terroir)

The Château Tour Saint Germain vineyard spans 67 hectares. The plots are distributed across the communes of Berson and Plassac.

Signature cuvées

Among the wines produced, the "Cuvée Élégance" is a still red wine. It displays distinct character with expressive fruit notes, crafted from a blend of grape varieties. The estate also produces an aromatic white wine made from Sauvignon, as well as a fruity rosé.
