The history of Château Tour Saint-Pierre dates back to the 18th century. The estate underwent a significant transition in 2022, marking a return to French ownership. Previously, the property was associated with a former mayor of Saint-Émilion. The current management began in 2022 under the leadership of David Caillaud. The estate is committed to environmentally friendly viticultural practices, without the use of herbicides or insecticides, and actively promotes biodiversity. The estate is certified HVE Level 3.

The Vineyard (Terroir)

The vineyard of Château Tour Saint-Pierre spans an area of 11.5 hectares. It is located on the north-eastern slopes of the commune of Saint-Émilion, characterised by a clay-siliceous plateau with limestone bedrock. The average age of the vines is around 25 years. Cabernet Franc is a key grape variety for the estate. Harvesting is carried out by hand.

The red wines of Château Tour Saint-Pierre are the result of meticulous vinification. The estate's practices aim to express the unique characteristics of each plot.

Vinification and Ageing

Vinification is carried out plot by plot in temperature-controlled concrete and stainless steel vats. This approach respects the expression of the soil and balances the extraction of components. The ageing of the wines lasts around 12 months and is conducted in a combination of French oak barrels and vats.
