Identity

Domaine Les Sadons is a family-owned winegrowing estate located in Pauillac, in the Gironde department. It is run by Alain Albistur and his two sons.

History and philosophy

Alain Albistur, the owner of Domaine Les Sadons, gained thirty years of experience in the cellar of a Grand Cru in Pauillac before devoting himself to his own estate. The estate is committed to an environmentally respectful approach, with viticultural practices focused on sustainable management (lutte raisonnée) and no herbicides. Vine treatments follow an uncertified organic approach across 90% of the vineyard.

Appellations

Domaine Les Sadons produces wines under the Pauillac appellation d'origine contrôlée.

Flagship wines

The estate produces a red wine, "Domaine Les Sadons", crafted from a blend of the vineyard's grape varieties. This wine is aged in oak barrels, and its aromatic profile develops throughout its cellaring window, recommended between 2026 and 2032 for the 2019 vintage. Its ideal serving temperature is between 17 and 18 degrees Celsius.
