History and philosophy
Château Beynat was founded in 1917 by Léonard Nebout with an 8-hectare vineyard. In 1921, Henri Borliachon took over the management of the estate, which by then spanned 14 hectares. His son, Daniel Borliachon, took over the property in 1975, followed by Xavier Borliachon in 1995. In 2008, Alain Tourenne and Nathalie Boyer took the helm of the estate. Nathalie Boyer subsequently stepped down in 2018.
Château Beynat is committed to environmentally friendly practices. The estate has been certified organic since 2011 and biodynamic (Demeter) since 2019.
