Eric Barrat took over Château Bran de Compostelle in 1983. In 2001, the family holdings were brought together. The estate has been certified organic (Agriculture Biologique) by Ecocert since 2010 and has held Haute Valeur Environnementale (Level 3) certification awarded by Bureau Veritas since 2017.

Vineyard work is carried out without herbicides, and the estate has also introduced environmental initiatives, including the planting of over 2,000 metres of hedges.

The estate offers several cuvées:
- Château Bran de Compostelle: a red wine under the Bordeaux appellation, certified organic. It features a classic Bordeaux red aromatic profile, with a balanced structure.
- Château Bran de Compostelle - Cuvée Louisa: a red wine under the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, certified organic. This cuvée benefits from oak barrel ageing, lending it aromatic complexity and a more pronounced texture.
- Mademoiselle Adèle B. de Compostelle: a rosé wine under the Bordeaux Rosé appellation, crafted from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and certified organic. It delivers a fresh and fruity expression.
Vinification and ageing
The Mademoiselle Adèle B. de Compostelle cuvée is made using traditional vinification with maceration in temperature-controlled vats at low temperatures, followed by pressing. It is aged in vats. The Château Bran de Compostelle - Cuvée Louisa is aged in oak barrels, contributing to its complexity.
