History and Philosophy
The history of Château Canteloup began in 1962 with Michel Vezain, who planted a five-hectare vineyard. At that time, grape production was delivered to the local cooperative. In 1982, the vineyard expanded to twelve hectares, and then to twenty-five hectares in 1986.
The name Château Canteloup was adopted in 1984. In 1986, Eric Vezain partnered with his father Michel Vezain to run the estate. Two years later, in 1988, Eric Vezain took the helm of the property. A cellar, featuring a vat room and a barrel hall, was built in 1992.

Winemaking and Ageing
Harvesting at Château Canteloup is carried out mechanically. The grapes undergo sorting before being transferred to vats. Maceration lasts around four to five weeks, depending on the vintage. Settling takes place naturally.
The wine ageing extends over a period of 18 to 20 months following the harvest. Approximately 25% of the volume is aged in oak barrels.
