History and Philosophy
The history of Château Haut-Calens dates back at least to 1879, the year Monsieur Révolat was awarded a gold medal for one of his harvests. Part of the estate was once owned by General Eugène Dubern. In the 1970s, Monsieur Albert Yung undertook a major modernisation of the property, replanting the vineyard and updating the cellars and vat room.
