History and philosophy
Château La Bertrande was established in 1880. In 1993, Anne-Marie Gillet took the helm of the property, carrying on the family heritage. The estate is a member of the Vignerons Indépendants.

Château La Bertrande produces wines under the Cadillac appellation.
Winemaking and ageing
For the classic AOC Cadillac cuvée, vinification is carried out traditionally in vats, followed by pneumatic pressing. For the SUMMUM cuvée, vinification is also traditional in vats, followed by 18 months of ageing in new oak barrels.

Château La Bertrande is located at Château la Bertrande, 33410 Omet. Visitors are welcomed by appointment throughout the year for tours and tastings. Direct cellar-door sales are available at the property. The estate takes part in Open Door Days, including the 31st edition on 6 and 7 June 2026, with opening hours from 10:00 to 19:00.

Production of this cuvée ranges between 1,000 and 6,000 bottles per year, depending on the vintage.

Portes ouvertes Maison des Vins 2026 | Ville de Cadillac sur Garonne
La 31ème édition des Journées Portes Ouvertes de la Région des Premières Côtes de Bordeaux se tiendra les 6 et 7 juin 2026, de 10h à 19h. Cet événement permettra aux visiteurs de rencontrer une trentaine de vignerons d'exception qui partageront leur passion et proposeront de nombreuses animations, activités ludiques et déjeuners.
