The vineyard (terroir)
The Château Lalaudey vineyard extends over an area of 17.93 hectares, with vines averaging 20 years of age. It is situated on a ridge within AOC Moulis, between Margaux and Saint-Julien. The soil is characterised by Tertiary gravel of Pyrenean origin, composed of quartz pebbles and small white gravel stones, offering excellent drainage.
The grape varieties planted comprise 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27.5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 14.5% Petit Verdot.

The estate's principal cuvée is Château Lalaudey. It features a blend of red grape varieties typical of the region.
Vinification and ageing
Harvesting is carried out by hand. Vinification takes place in 18 temperature-controlled concrete vats. Ageing is conducted in a cellar where humidity is naturally regulated by tailored ventilation.
