The history of Château Laujac began in 1852 when it was acquired by Herman Cruse. In 1957, the estate was owned by Bernard Cruse, and its vineyard spanned 8 hectares at the time. In 2012, Bernard Cruse handed over the management of the property to his daughter Vanessa and his son-in-law René-Philippe Duboscq. The estate was classified as a Cru Bourgeois in 1932. Alongside its viticultural activity, it also raises Limousin cattle and saddle horses, whose manure is traditionally used as natural fertiliser.
