Château les Maubats is committed to environmentally friendly viticulture, holding organic farming certification as well as level 3 Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) status. The estate also applies the HACCP method. To manage its vineyard, it practices vitipastoralism, introducing a flock of ewes from November to March for grazing and natural soil fertilisation.

The estate's plots are situated on the slopes of Entre-deux-Mers, and the wines produced are labelled under the Bordeaux Supérieur and Bordeaux appellations. The estate also produces Bordeaux Blanc Sec wines.

The estate also hosts summer events called "Les jeudis Vins", convivial evenings from 7 pm to 11 pm where visitors can bring their own picnic or enjoy appetiser platters. Groups are welcome, from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 50 people. Motorhomes are also accommodated on site. Accepted payment methods include bank cards. Booking is required for certain activities, while entry is free for other events.
