Château Redon is a winegrowing estate located in Saint-Émilion, in the Gironde. It is owned by Vignobles Ducourt.
History and philosophy
Château Redon takes its name from the Occitan word "redon", meaning "round", in reference to the undulating contours of the land. The estate was acquired in 1967 by Henri Ducourt in Cessac. Committed to sustainable viticulture, the estate is certified Agriconfiance and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System).

The wines of Château Redon are produced under the AOC Bordeaux appellation.

The vineyard of Château Redon extends over a recorded surface area of 25.35 hectares. The average vine age is 40 years, with a planting density of 4,500 vines per hectare. The soils are described as clay-loam, alongside gritty and sandy parcels. The estate's overall grape varieties include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris and Colombard.
For the red varieties, Merlot accounts for 75% of the plantings and Cabernet Franc 25%.
Key cuvées
Château Redon offers a red cuvée crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It also produces a white cuvée made from Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris.
Vinification and ageing
Harvesting is carried out mechanically. Vinification takes place in concrete vats. The wines are aged entirely in vats.
