The Vineyard (Terroir)

The Château Shuette vineyard consists of small plots integrated into a diverse ecosystem. This includes fruit trees, a vegetable garden, and a wildlife-friendly environment, all contributing to soil vitality.

Flagship Cuvées

Château Shuette offers a diverse range of wines, including pet nats, orange wines, dark rosés, semi-carbonic maceration wines, clairets, and occasionally fuller-bodied reds.

ROKO 2025

This cuvée is a blend of Cabernet and Merlot. It is characterised by aromas of plums, black cherries, and warm spices. It is an approachable and expressive wine, offering balanced tannins and a light spicy oak touch, with dark fruit flavours complemented by brighter blackcurrant notes, leading to a lingering finish.

RUPTIS 2024

This is a Merlot vinified using semi-carbonic maceration. Tasting notes reveal tart cherry, strawberry, and a hint of smoke.

YARA 2025

This cuvée is a pet nat delivering aromas of ripe pear, lemon, and pineapple. The wine features concentrated fruit balanced by a pleasant acidity, generous effervescence, and a rich texture.

Vinification and Ageing

Château Shuette's winemaking philosophy is based on spontaneous fermentation, no added sulphur, and unfiltered bottlings. For the RUPTIS 2024 cuvée, vinification involves placing whole clusters into stainless steel vats, adding a small proportion of grape juice to kick-start fermentation and CO2 production. Fermentation lasts for two weeks, followed by gentle pressing.
