SCEA Rogerie, also known as SCEA Rogerie Père et Fils, is a winegrowing estate located in Petit-Palais-et-Cornemps, in the Gironde department. The estate has been managed by Florent Rogerie since 1996, alongside his wife Muriel. The core activity is that of an independent winegrower and producer.

History and philosophy

The wine estate was founded in the 1930s by Mr and Mrs Bourriaud. In 1969, Michel Rogerie took over the vineyard work on the property. SCEA Rogerie was officially established in 1987. The estate is committed to environmentally friendly practices, having converted to organic farming as early as 1970, and holds organic certification.

The vineyard (terroir)

The vineyard of SCEA Rogerie is characterised by clay-limestone soils, typical of Entre-deux-Mers. Cultivation practices at the estate focus on organic viticulture, strictly excluding weedkillers, chemical fertilisers and synthetic insecticides. The vineyard's grape varieties include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
