Frères Sichel, carré d'as
Cet article du 25 avril 2011 présente les frères Sichel – Benjamin, James, David et Charles – qui, en plus de gérer leurs domaines viticoles, sont des athlètes accomplis et participent au Triathlon des châteaux à Arsac. La famille Sichel est bien connue dans le Bordelais pour son implication dans le vin, possédant des propriétés telles que le Château Angludet, le Château d'Argadens, le Château Trillol et le Château Palmer. Les quatre frères, à l'exception d'Allan, ont pris part à cette compétition sportive. Initialement adeptes du marathon, ils se sont tournés vers le triathlon il y a trois ans, trouvant cette discipline plus diversifiée et stimulante. Ils ont également contribué à l'organisation et au financement de ce triathlon en Médoc, avec l'aide de Benjamin Sanson, un ancien triathlète de haut niveau, et de Florise Sichel et Stéphanie Lavie. Pour sa première édition, l'événement a attiré plus de 130 participants. Sportivement, trois des frères ont remporté le triathlon en relais le matin. Lors de l'épreuve principale, Benjamin a terminé en 2h30 (malgré une crevaison), Charles en 2h27, David en 2h33 et James en 2h40, réalisant des performances honorables.
