History and philosophy
Maison Sichel, owner of Château Daviaud, established itself in Bordeaux in 1883. Over the years, it expanded its operations, notably establishing the Cave de Bel Air in Saint-Maixant in 1960, followed by the acquisition of Château Argadens, a 40-hectare estate in Saint-André-du-Bois, in 2002. Château Daviaud came under the ownership of the Sichel family in 2020. Vinification has been guided by Maison Sichel’s oenologists since 2019. The estate is certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale).

Vinification and ageing
Vinification at Château Daviaud follows traditional methods, with fermentation temperatures reaching up to 30°C. Malolactic fermentation takes place in vats. The wine is then aged for 6 months in vats, with no barrel ageing. Bottling is carried out by Maison Sichel.
