History and philosophy
Château Lambert is a family estate, managed by the fourth generation of the Bordeille family. The estate's team is predominantly female. Committed to environmentally friendly practices, as reflected by its certifications, the estate was awarded the Grand Prix d’Or at the Trophées Bordeaux Vignoble Engagé in 2022 in the “Vivre Ensemble” category, acknowledging in particular its communication and relationship with local residents.
The appellations
Château Lambert produces wines under the Fronsac and Bordeaux appellations. The vast majority of the vineyard, covering 19 hectares, is dedicated to the Fronsac appellation, while 0.74 hectares is classified under the Bordeaux appellation.
