Château Lange-Réglat, owned by Vignobles Bernard Réglat & Fils, is located in the commune of Monprimblanc in the Gironde department. The estate is managed by Guillaume Réglat.

History and Philosophy

The history of Château Lange-Réglat is defined by five generations of family heritage. The estate has proudly maintained its status as a Vigneron Indépendant for forty years and practices sustainable winegrowing, reflecting a strong commitment to environmental stewardship.

The Appellations

Château Lange-Réglat produces red wines under the Graves appellation. The estate also crafts sweet white wines under the Sauternes appellation.

Winemaking and Ageing

For red wines, winemaking practices include gentle maceration, micro-oxygenation, and integral vinification. Ageing takes place in oak barrels for at least six months, with the Cuvée Prestige spending 12 months in oak. For the Sauternes cuvée, fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by 12 months of barrel ageing.

The Vineyard (Terroir)

The vineyard spans an area of 67 hectares. The soils consist of gravel and clay-limestone. The grape varieties planted for red wines include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. For white wines, the plantings comprise Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc.

Signature Cuvées

Château Lange-Réglat – Sauternes

This sweet wine, crafted from a blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, displays a golden hue. The nose reveals aromas of honey, acacia blossom, candied fruit, and sweet spices. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, striking a harmonious balance between richness and freshness.

Cuvée Prestige – Graves rouge

This red cuvée is crafted from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and is aged in oak barrels.

Cuvée Confidences – Graves rouge

This red Graves cuvée is made exclusively from Merlot and is distinguished by being vinified with no added sulphur.

Graves rouge sans sulfites ajoutés

This 100% Merlot red wine is a new addition to the estate's range, vinified with no added sulphites.
