History and philosophy

The history of Château Vieux Plantier is closely tied to the Pauvif family, who settled in Teuillac in 1960. Over the years, the family dedicated themselves to expanding the vineyard, structuring the estate, and acquiring new plots. The Pauvif brothers took over the property in 2014. The estate expanded with the acquisition of Château Grand Fond in 2015, followed in 2016 by vines from Château Tertre de Leyle and Château Peyblanc. Vineyard operations benefit from the experience of Philippe Pauvif alongside the technical expertise of his son Lucas, gained from his viticultural studies.
