The grape varieties are split equally between Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, each accounting for 50% of the planted area.

The 2011 vintage of Château Clos du Moulin was awarded a gold medal, marking the estate's first accolade. Vinification and ageing
The ageing of Clos du Moulin wines combines the use of vats and barrels. For the 2017 vintage, for example, ageing took place 80% in oak barrels (including 40% new oak) and 20% in vats. Annual production is approximately 69,000 bottles.
