History and philosophy
The history of Château Chêne Liège began in 1896 when it was founded by Pierre Niarfeix. In 1936, Marcel Niarfeix acquired the Bastienne estate. The property was taken over in 2000 by Philippe Niarfeix. The estate implements traditional vineyard management practices, including mechanical weeding and exclusively manual harvesting. Vinification is carried out using ancestral methods. The estate reports practising sustainable and conventional viticulture.
