Identity

Château de Chelivette is located in the commune of Sainte-Eulalie. It is owned by Florence and Jacques Borel, who acquired it in 2014. In 2019, the estate received a Best Of Wine Tourism award in the “Accommodation at the Estate” category.

History and philosophy

The history of Château de Chelivette traces back to a medieval castle. The estate also preserves a chapel dating from 1620 and historic cellars. The site is further distinguished by the presence of a Chappe optical telegraph.

Current owners Florence and Jacques Borel initiated a conversion towards organic and biodynamic viticulture in 2019. Today, Château de Chelivette is certified in organic farming (Agriculture Biologique) and biodynamics. The estate also features the Jardins de Chelivette, dedicated to organic market gardening, as well as self-catering accommodation at Château Mathereau.
