History and philosophy
The history of Château de Pez dates back to 1452, making its vineyard one of the oldest in the appellation. Throughout its history, the estate belonged to the Pontac and Lawton families. The name of the château is thought to originate from an ancient tower, destroyed in 1933 and rebuilt at the end of the 20th century. Its acquisition by Maison Louis Roederer in 1995 marked a major milestone. In 2018, a new stainless-steel vat room was built to facilitate plot-by-plot vinification. The estate is committed to an HVE certification process.

Record-Breaking $2.65 Million Raised at 47th Annual l'Eté du Vin for the Fight Against Cancer
La 47e édition annuelle de l'Eté du Vin, organisée par la Nashville Wine Auction, a permis de récolter plus de 2,65 millions de dollars pour la lutte contre le cancer. Cet événement caritatif, qui est la plus ancienne vente aux enchères de vin à but non lucratif du pays, s'est déroulé sur trois jours et a culminé avec une vente aux enchères en direct au JW Marriott Nashville.
