Jean Sorge, propriétaire du château Deyrem Valentin, une exploitation de 13 hectares en AOC Margaux qu'il gère en famille avec son épouse et ses deux filles, Christelle et Sylvie, est un fervent partenaire de la Médocaine. Dès 1998, le château a ouvert ses portes aux participants de la course, évoluant pour devenir un site d'animation musicale et de dégustation. Jean Sorge, également ancien élu de Soussans, souligne son engagement dans la vie locale et le développement de cet événement.
