Château Hosanna is a winegrowing estate located in the commune of Libourne, in Gironde. It is owned by Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix, headed by Christian and Édouard Moueix, with Laurent Descos as cellar master and Éric Murisasco as consulting oenologist.
History and philosophy
Château Hosanna was created in 1999 following the division of a historic property, Château Certan Giraud, formerly owned by the Giraud family. The earliest vines on this historic estate were originally planted by the de May family back in the 16th century. Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix acquired the property in 1999. The estate is certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale).
