The vineyard (terroir)

The vineyard extends over a total area of 22 hectares. The estate notably cultivates the Merlot grape variety. On certain plots, such as those of Clos Les Fougerailles, the soils are sandy-loam.

Flagship cuvées

The estate offers several cuvées. Château Maréchaux is one of its principal wines. Château La Pensée, formerly known as Château Coudreau, is another notable cuvée, crafted predominantly from Merlot. A dedicated cuvée, Arthus, also made from Merlot, is sourced from select small plots.

Vinification and ageing

Certain cuvées at Vignoble Mingot are aged in barrels. For instance, the Arthus cuvée is aged in 500-litre oak casks.
