Our historical entry-level wine, a Graves made from 45% Cabernet-Sauvignon and 55% Merlot.

Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot grapes at beautiful ripeness. Vinification with natural yeasts and low fermentation temperatures. Freshness, balance, truly delicious and perfectly drinkable.

'After two blank years due to frost and then hail, Jean-Baptiste Duquesne's project, led by David Poutays (a winemaker from the other side of the Garonne, at Clos de Mounissens), can finally take flight. It will need to be followed closely, as we feel it has the potential to revitalise the Graves sector, by questioning its viticultural practices and its history (replanting historical grape varieties, in the footsteps of Loïc Pasquet of Liber Pater). On the beautiful gravelly terroir of Saint-Pierre de Mons, a welcome breath of fresh air is blowing.' Pierre Citerne, RVF, July 2020
