We are de-hilling to earth up better afterwards

On this plot, we managed the grass very poorly this year. So we have to remove the tufts of grass that have taken root.
Once this work is done, we will be able to earth up and the vines will be ready to prepare for winter.
PS
Décavaillonner (de-hilling) = removing the cavaillon, i.e. the ridge of earth under the vine row
Cavaillonner = chausser (earthing up / hilling up) = building up the ridge of earth under the vine row
