Jean-Luc Thunevin acquired Château Bel-Air-Ouÿ in 1999. Prior to this purchase, he established the wine merchant business Thunevin in 1988. Château Bel-Air-Ouÿ follows in the footsteps of the estates managed by Jean-Luc Thunevin, which include Château Valandraud, classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé de Saint-Émilion in 2012, a ranking reconfirmed in 2022.
