Château Siaurac, located in Néac in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, is a 46-hectare winegrowing estate owned by Terroirs de Suravenir. HVE-certified, it is characterised by a single contiguous vineyard planted on clay-gravel soils, dominated by Merlot.

Identity
Château Siaurac is a winegrowing estate located in Néac. It is currently owned by Terroirs de Suravenir. Vincent Millet manages the estate, while Pierre Rebaud serves as estate director. Claude Gros is the consulting oenologist and Élodie Kaminski holds the position of cellar master.
Dating from the 19th century, the château is listed as a Monument Historique and its parkland is recognised as a Jardin Remarquable.
History and philosophy
Château Siaurac was founded in 1832. Before the creation of the Lalande de Pomerol AOC in December 1936, it produced wine under the Pomerol name. The estate is committed to environmental stewardship, demonstrated by its HVE certification.

The parcels of Château Siaurac are located within the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. The estate also produces wines under the Bordeaux appellation and as Vin de France.

The vineyard (terroir)
The Château Siaurac vineyard extends over 46 continuous hectares. The average age of the vines is 35 years. The terroir is predominantly composed of clay, gravel, and sandy soils. The property also features 15 hectares of romantic parkland, graced with centuries-old trees, an orangery, and an 18th-century pierced woodland.
The grape varieties are dominated by Merlot (74%), complemented by Cabernet Franc (20%) and Malbec (6%). Harvesting is carried out both by hand and mechanically. The vineyard is farmed according to sustainable viticultural practices (lutte raisonnée).
Key cuvées
The estate's grand vin is Château Siaurac. It is accompanied by a second wine, Plaisir de Siaurac. The estate also crafts a rosé cuvée named “Le S de Siaurac”.
Vinification and ageing
Ageing for the Plaisir cuvée is carried out in vats.
