History and philosophy
The history of Château Toumalin dates back to around 1750, with Charles Martial Badailh recorded as its first known owner. Over the centuries, the estate has seen a succession of owners, including Antoine Dumon in the late 18th century, followed by Louis Charles Montouroy, who purchased it in 1887. He was succeeded by Paul Delahoutre, Françoise d’Arfeuille and Paul Bernard d’Arfeuille, prior to the arrival of the Miravete family.
