13 May 2020
After the 120mm of rain over the weekend, yesterday we had to head into battle

Spraying with a little copper, sulphur and herbal teas to fight off the lurking mildew.
We were hoping to be able to treat two-thirds of our plots. The others on slopes or down in the hollows were simply impassable.
In the end, we only managed to get through half of them. The Cazebonne parcel (see photo) got the better of our good intentions. Right from the very first row, the sprayer slipped sideways, and we had to call it off.
Now, we will have to arm ourselves with patience, let the last rains forecast for today and tomorrow fall, and wait for the ground to dry out. We shall see if we can get through on Saturday, Sunday or Monday to limit the damage.
We cannot control everything.
