Henri Duporge did us the honour of letting us taste 3 vintages of his single-varietal Carménère cuvée (2008, 2012 and 2016)

We discover a grape variety with great personality, defined by its spicy and herbal notes, which ages remarkably well. The 2008 has not aged a bit.
Hats off!
A finicky grape variety with low yields, but which truly belongs in Bordeaux. It undoubtedly once played an essential role in blends.
