In total on Friday, we dug around ten soil pits, which enabled us to collect samples for soil analysis, but also to understand why, on certain parcels, the soil is not functioning properly.
We often found areas of soil compaction between 50 and 80 centimetres deep. We will need to decompact the soil and continue our organic matter inputs to restore living soils.
The soil analyses will allow us to address deficiencies in certain essential elements, particularly limestone.
